House Team Leaders- Melbourne
ACCORD CARE is trusted in the provision of person-centered disability support services to NDIS participants. We provide Supported Independent Living, In-home care, Community Participation, Short-Term Accommodation, Community Nursing, and Allied Health Services.
About the role
We are looking for Team Leaders in our supported independent living arrangements across multiple locations in suburbs of Melbourne like Brunswick and Frankston to provide 24/7 support in the home and out in the community.
Team leader's role and responsibilities will include:
- Lead and mentor the team of support workers
- Seek advice on complex issues where some liaison with Service Coordinators
- Prepare/submit appropriate documentation such as weekly report, incident report and data collection each week
- Maintain a professional relationship with clients and adhere to the NDIS and company code of conduct
- Ensure participants are appropriately supported to resolve issues
- Manage the safety of the team through Induction and Occupational Health and Safety
- Ensure the home environment is secure, clean, and well-presented and reports any hazards, damages, and maintenance issues to the appropriate person-in-charge
- Above all, be responsive, reliable and accountable to our clients and your team
Qualification/Experience:
- Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care or Higher (or the ability to acquire an appropriate qualification)
- Background in Nursing is highly desirable

Part-time/Casual positions
Competitive Pay Rates up to $44.39/hour
Weekend Rate: up to $79.90
